ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
Although a fear evoking dental practice, root canal treatments are necessary to prevent tooth loss. Treatments are carried out under local anaesthetic and are usually pain-free, requiring a couple of sessions. The infection from the tooth is cleared with special files, under a binocular microscope. The space inside the root is then cleaned and filled to prevent further infection. A crown is usually placed on top of the tooth at the end of the procedure for extra strength. Opal dentistry provides laser root canal treatment by our Endodontist. It’s a painless procedure and gives complete disinfection of the affected root canals.
